CHAMPAGNE, CAVIAR AND THE ULTIMATE DISH OF THE DAY
Good design is in our DNA. For 20 years, we’ve partnered with some of the world’s best hospitality businesses, from airlines to cruise lines, five-star hotels to celebrity chefs and their Michelin-starred restaurants.
You’ll find our cutlery, kitchen knives, tableware and performance cookware in more than 100 countries worldwide.
On land, sea and air, our enduring stainless-steel designs are everywhere – created to elevate every culinary experience; intentionally crafted to last a lifetime.
Since 2008, we’ve been proud to partner with Emirates, elevating the dining experience for first and business class passengers.
Here, we lift the lid on our latest commission: an exquisite caviar dish with an elegant domed lid, exclusively designed for Emirates’ First Class silver service.
RUNWAY SUCCESS
Our relationship with Emirates began almost 20 years ago with a brief to create cutlery that was elegant and refined, yet lightweight enough for in-flight dining.
The fluted design and elegant profile of Palm is inspired by the pattern of the leaves on the tropical tree, and paired perfectly with the airline’s Royal Doulton tableware.
Over the years, our exclusive Emirates cutlery collection has grown.
Artisan cheeses are presented on a slate with Palm cheese and butter knives and a wooden honey dipper.
Our Palm knives, forks and soup, dessert and serving spoons are set alongside tea and espresso spoons and sugar holders.
Stainless-steel swizzle sticks bring glamour to drinks, while canapé and pastry forks, fish knives and napkin rings complete the 23-product collection.

WHITE GLOVE SERVICE
For Emirates’ first-class passengers, unlimited caviar and vintage Champagne is the ultimate draw.
Served by cabin crew wearing white gloves, with a smorgasbord of toasts and sauces, this memorable ritual offers an exceptional hospitality experience at 40,000ft.
First Class customers indulge in unlimited caviar served with seven accompaniments, including melba toast, blinis, egg, chives, onions, sour cream and lemon, all served with a mother-of-pearl spoon.
They’re invited to savour the caviar in elegant new Emirates engraved bowls, designed by Robert Welch to complement Emirates’ existing range.
The tricorn-shaped caviar presentation bowl created by Design Director Paul deBretton Gordon, is elegantly fluted to match the Palm cutlery.
A white ceramic Royal Doulton dish holds the caviar while the domed lid, with its sweeping handle, is lifted with a flourish at the table. The mother of pearl spoon ensures nothing taints the taste of the caviar.

“For almost 20 years, we’ve loved working with Emirates,” says Robert Welch’s Head of Creative, Kit deBretton Gordon. “We were thrilled when they approached us to design this caviar dish.
The brief was sophistication and an element of surprise.
The cloche lid is a nod to traditional fine dining, three feet give it important stability on the table, so it’s practical as well as beautiful.”
PALM AT HOME
The Robert Welch Palm collection comprises Palm Bright cutlery, part of Collection 5.0, and new Palm Air bright cutlery – part of our master collection.
Three different sizes of mills, in Bright or Satin finishes, complete the range.
